16 bit ADC<\/h2>\n

Traditional CMOS sensors produce a weak infrared light source during use that is often seen in the corner of uncalibrated images as the telltale signs of ‘amp glow’. Since the ASI6200MM Pro uses a zero amp glow circuit. Don’t worry about the amp glow, even when using high-gain, long exposures.<\/p>\n

Two-stage TEC cooling<\/h3>\n

ASI6200MM Pro uses two-stage TEC cooling which can lower the CMOS sensor temperature to more than 35\u00b0C below the ambient temperature, which can greatly reduce the generation of dark current and sensor noise even at longer exposure times.<\/p>\n

The unique dark current suppression technology can further reduce dark current noise.<\/p>\n

At a cooling temperature of 0\u00b0, the dark current noise is only 0.003e\/s\/pix. That means a 300 second exposure can cause only 0.9th of dark power noise, which is completely negligible!<\/p>\n
