Door selectief de transmissie van golflengten van licht verontreinigende stoffen te verminderen. Door de gebalanceerde transmissie kunnen astro foto&#8217;s met minimale kleur zweem worden gemaakt naar breedbandemissievoorwerpen zoals sterrenstelsels, reflectienevels en bolvormige sterrenhopen.
